We-ID | Well-being through Design

We-ID is a research group housed within the School of Industrial Design that aims to enhance human health and subjective well-being through design.

The “We” in our name symbolizes both our ethos, which centers around participatory approaches to design, and our dedication to enhancing well-being through our projects. Through a participatory approach, we are committed to collaboration, diversity, and inclusivity. The “ID” naturally derives from our specialization in Industrial Design. Thus, We-ID embodies a dual significance: we engage in Industrial Design collaborations while striving to improve well-being through our designs, with a particular focus on vulnerable populations.

While our work encompasses healthcare, our broader mission extends beyond physical health. Well-being permeates every aspect of our lives: from our educational and professional pursuits to our social interactions and moments of self-reflection.
